Version 3.02
For Excel 2000 and

Have
you ever wondered how much income you could reliably maintain from
your investments and wished that you could have a practice
run? The Practice Navigator allows you
to do just that. It simulates real-life stock market
variability so that you can practice making financial decisions
without the risk of financial loss. Test your skills and see
if you can maintain your desired income for up to 30 years.
After a little practice you
may be surprised to see how much better you can do compared to
a traditional Systematic Withdrawals approach.

Ready
for some competition? See if you can beat the maximum withdrawal rates
that we have posted below. If you succeed send us a copy of your winning strategy. Once
validated we'll post your name and a screen shot to show how you did
it. Now we don't advocate pushing the withdrawal rate to the
outer limits in the real world! But within the context of a
game, it is a measure of strategy and skill. We hope to
illuminate the strategies and techniques that will also serve
investors well for successfully maintaining a more practical level of
investment income. Click Here for contest instructions.
Your Excel program must have macros enabled to use the Practice
Navigator. If your Excel program does not have macros enabled and it does not give you the option to enable macros when the Practice
Navigator is launched, you will need to modify the security setting.
To do this, click "Tools" on the Excel menu bar, then select "Macro", then "Security", and then choose either the Medium or Low setting.
Close Excel and re-launch the Practice
Navigator. Practice
Navigator may not be compatible with versions or Excel prior to Excel
2000, and it is not compatible with Macintosh computers.
